As you probably know, the Vogons destroyed the earth many years ago to make way for a new hyperspace bypass. What you may not know is that from some points of view, Vogon Thursdays come before Wednesday. This means that they launched the ships to destroy the earth before they decided to launch the ships. For Vogons this would be totally unacceptable. It must mean that the decision was inevitable and therefore they had no free will. Are you any different?
